Congresswoman Waters Speaks Out In Honor of Fred Korematsu Day

Congresswoman Maxine Waters is featured on Page 2 of the February 7 edition of the Torrance Tribune. In attendance at the third annual "Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution," Congresswoman Waters is shown with Karen Korematsu, the daughter of civil rights leader Fred Korematsu.

Korematsu Day, the first day in U.S. History named for an Asian-American, recognizes Fred Korematsu for speaking out against the U.S. internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II.
